Cookie & Tracking Notice

Last Updated: August 2, 2026
Effective Date: August 10, 2026
Plain English: We use only three essential cookies to keep the website working. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, pixels, SDKs, or any technology that identifies or profiles you. There is no non-essential tracking on MyOnne.

1. Plain-Language Summary

MyOnne uses essential cookies only. These are the minimum cookies required for the website and web companion to function. We use zero non-essential tracking: no analytics cookies, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting scripts, no behavioural profiling, and no third-party tracking SDKs. If this ever changes, we will update this notice and ask for your explicit consent before enabling any non-essential tracking.

2. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the website owner. Similar technologies (such as local storage, session storage, and web beacons) may also be used for these purposes. This notice covers all such technologies.

3. Our Position: Essential-Only

Our tracking policy is simple: we limit ourselves to essential and security cookies only. We do not use cookies, pixels, SDKs, or any analytics that identify or profile users. This is not just a preference: it is a direct consequence of our privacy-first architecture and our obligations under the DPDP Act, 2023, which requires clear notice and valid consent before processing personal data.

Because we use no non-essential tracking whatsoever, there is nothing for you to opt out of beyond the essential cookies listed below.

4. Cookies We Use

Here is a complete, exhaustive list of every cookie and storage item used by MyOnne:

NamePurposeDurationTypeFirst / Third Party
theme_preferenceStores your UI theme preference (light/dark mode). Set only in response to your action.1 yearStrictly NecessaryFirst Party
auth_sessionMaintains your authenticated session on the web companion (Vault). Set only when you log in.Session (expires on browser close)Strictly NecessaryFirst Party
cookie_consentRemembers that you have seen and acknowledged the cookie notice banner. Set only when you dismiss the banner.6 monthsStrictly NecessaryFirst Party

This list is exhaustive. We do not set any cookies beyond those listed in this table. All three cookies are first-party, strictly necessary, and do not identify or profile you.

5. What We Do NOT Use

To be completely clear, MyOnne does not use any of the following technologies on our website or in our app:

  • Analytics Cookies: No Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Hotjar, or any client-side analytics platform.
  • Advertising Pixels: No Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, Twitter Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any advertising tracking pixel.
  • Third-Party SDKs: No advertising SDKs, attribution SDKs (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch), or marketing automation tools.
  • Fingerprinting Scripts: No browser fingerprinting, canvas fingerprinting, or device fingerprinting scripts.
  • Cross-Site Tracking: No cross-site or cross-app tracking of any kind.
  • Behavioural Profiling: No behavioural analytics, session recording, heat maps, or user journey tracking.
  • Embedded Third-Party Tools: No embedded social media widgets, chatbots with tracking, or third-party comment systems.

We rely entirely on server-side aggregated telemetry (which does not identify individuals and does not set any client-side cookies or storage) to understand our infrastructure's performance. If we ever introduce privacy-preserving analytics in the future, we will update this notice and ask for your explicit consent first.

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 does not have a separate "cookie law" like the EU's ePrivacy Directive. However, the DPDP Act's notice-and-consent framework applies to any processing of digital personal data, which includes cookies or similar technologies that identify or profile individuals.

Because MyOnne uses only essential/security cookies that do not identify or profile users, we do not require separate cookie consent under the DPDP framework. Our essential cookies are necessary for the functioning of the service and fall under legitimate uses.

If we ever introduce any cookies or technologies that identify or profile users (which we currently have no plans to do), we will:

  • Update this notice with clear, plain-language disclosure.
  • Obtain your free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous consent before enabling such technologies.
  • Provide an equally easy mechanism to withdraw that consent.

7. How to Manage Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Here are links to instructions for popular browsers:

Please note: blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies may affect the functionality of the MyOnne web companion (e.g., you may be logged out or your theme preference may reset). Because we use no non-essential tracking, disabling cookies will not affect any analytics or advertising: there are none.

8. Third-Party Cookies

We use zero third-party cookies. We do not allow third-party advertising networks (such as Google Ads, Meta Pixel, or any ad exchange) to set cookies on our website or in our app. Your visit to MyOnne is not tracked by any third party for advertising or any other purpose. All three cookies listed in Section 4 are first-party cookies set by MyOnne only.

9. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Cookie & Tracking Notice from time to time. If we introduce any new cookies or tracking technologies, we will update this page and, where required by the DPDP Act, seek your explicit consent before enabling them. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
